Forthcoming International Buyers' Exhibitions (IBEX)

As part of the transnational activities funded by the SME Community Initiative, several International Buyers Exhibitions (IBEX) are to take place in the coming months, with support from the European Regional Development Fund.

IBEXs will take place in the following sectors:

- Agri-foodstuffs: Leon, Spain, from 28-30 May 1998;
- Timber in construction: Libramont, Belgium, from 24-27 November 1998.

Such exhibitions are designed to be a forum for contacts between major companies that have subcontracting work to offer and small businesses wishing to undertake such work.
