Third European Telework Festival

The third European Telework Festival is being held in Serre Chevalier, France, from 2 to 4 April 1998. The event is being supported by the European Commission, DG XIII.

The colloquium is organized into conference groups (series of lectures) and round tables. Conferences are based on the papers put forward in the context of the annual call for papers, while the round tables will examine special subjects. This presents an opportunity to take stock of the economic issues linked to the development of professional practice, and the technological progress that can be applied in the field, as well as giving the opportunity to share experiences.

The main themes to be addressed will be:

- New trends in Telework;
- Virtual organizations;
- Telework and SMEs;
- Distance learning;
- Social integration;
- New ways of working in the Information Society;
- State modernization;
- Local development.
