Three experts are being sought by the European Commission (DG XIII) to fill positions in its Information Market and Industry Directorate. The three positions will initially be for one year periods, which may be extended, working in the following fields:

- Lot 1: Electronic publishing and libraries (DG XIII/E.4) 200 working days;
- Lot 2: Language processing and applications (DG XIII/E.5) 200 working days;
- Lot 3: Information market policy (DG XIII/E.2) 160 working days.

For lots 1 and 2, the successful candidate will be required to work within the Commission's Euroforum building in Luxembourg. For lot 3, the contractor will work from their own premises. Tenderers may bid for more than one lot, however each lot should be the subject of a separate bid.
