The applications developed are as follows: - The EASY software package which enables applicants to prepare European patent applications in electronic format. Facilities for filling out the relevant forms, as well as an externally prepared word processor file containing the technical documents, are attached to the forms data; - An EPA/EPO/OEB form software has been developed to assist in preparing and printing some of the forms regularly transmitted to the EPO by applicants and their representatives; - PatentIn 1.30 is a software programme specially designed by the EPO and the US Patent Office to facilitate the preparation of patent applications containing nucleotide and amino acid sequences. The software prepares sequence listings whose layout complies with the requirements as prescribed by the Patent Offices; - PatentIn Version 2 is a software programme designed to facilitate the preparation of patent applications containing nucleotide and amino acid sequences complying with Standard 25 of the World Intellectual Property Organisation.
