This represents the fifth decision to co-finance studies related to projects of common interest in the energy sector, which will be of a technical, economic and environmental nature The electricity projects selected for Greece, Ireland and Italy, relate to the strengthening of internal electricity networks. A further study proposed by Germany will concern the operation of electricity interconnections with Central Europe. In the gas sector, two studies will examine gas storage in Denmark and Belgium and the gas infrastructures of Ireland and Greece will also be examined.
