Jean Monnet Project offers information
The Jean Monnet Project database contains information classified by country, by university, by discipline, by professor and by subject. The Jean Monnet Project co-finances universities for the establishment of Jean Monnet Chairs, Jean Monnet permanent courses, Jean Monnet modules in European law, European economy, political studies of European construction, and the history of European integration. It also supports the creation of Jean Monnet Centres of Excellence. In this activity, the Jean Monnet Project assists the European Commission, Directorate General X, in supporting academic initiatives that contribute to the spreading and transmission of knowledge on European integration and the European Union, including: - ECSA - European Community Studies Association. The Commission cooperates with the European Community Studies Associations that are regrouped into ECSA Europe at the level of the European Union, and ECSA World is the world-wide association. The computer network ECSA-Net links the associations; - Euristote - University research on European integration. A data base of doctoral theses and research on European integration and Community policies done in universities world-wide; - Calendar - Events tied to European integration: colloquia, conferences, and seminars; - EDC European Documentation Centres - Depository documentation centres in universities and research institutes for the official publications of European institutions; - Post-Graduate Degrees - A database of specialisation programmes in European studies (Masters, M. Phil., and so on) organised by universities.
