The Active and Assisted Living (AAL) Programme will be hosting its annual Forum in September this year and preparations are already well underway to organise the many workshops and interactive sessions that ensure this conference, one of the largest in the ageing sector in Europe, is such a valuable experience for all who attend.

New, regular and aspiring AAL community participants are encouraged to submit a contribution to the event in the form of a workshop. This year, leveraging the lessons learnt over 10 previous AAL Forums and looking ahead to AAL post-2020, we aim to provide a vibrant and exciting programme of interactive workshops that offer organisers and audience an excellent space in which to communicate, discuss and engage with each other as key stakeholders involved in shaping the future of active and healthy ageing and of the AAL itself. So we need your ideas.

The overall theme of the AAL Forum 2019 is: Smarter practical implementation of digital technology to enhance active and healthy living.

Details of what we are looking for in our workshops:
• Workshop proposals must be submitted under one of the six themes ( running through the forum
• Sessions should be interactive and motivational
• The AAL Programme can waive the registration fees and cover the travel and accommodation expenses for two speakers in each session.

This is your chance to help make the AAL Forum 2019 one of the most successful yet – three days of sharing ideas, collaborating, discovering and finding ways to deliver digital technology to those who it will help to live active and healthy lives for longer.

The deadline for the submission of workshop proposals is 25 March 2019.
