Austria is latest CORDIS Member State service
The latest of CORDIS' Member State services is for Austria, and follows the successful CORDIS Austrian Presidency R&D information service in the second half of 1998. The new Web service will provide information on research in Austria and on Austrian participation in the EU's research Framework Programmes. On the Austrian service, users will find an introduction to the research environment in Austria, and details of Austrian participation in the EU Framework Programmes. A series of regularly updated 'spotlights' kicks off with an investigation of the different countries and research fields covered by cooperative projects with Austrian participation. Examples of individual projects from the Fourth Framework Programme are also given. A cooperative venture between CORDIS and the Austrian Ministry for Science and transport, the new service is available in both English and German. It provides a range of contact points to help users find further information on research in particular fields in Austria.
