The Natura network is a European ecological network of special areas of conservation set up by the European Community in 1992. The network is composed of sites proposed by the Member States that host certain types of habitat or specific species' habitats deserving protection. This call for tenders has been published independently of a call for expressions of interest published in the Official Journal No S 214 of 5.11.1996 and tenderers should therefore submit a complete application.
