The Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS) requires a study on lifelong learning, information and communication technologies and employability. IPTS has launched an invitation to tender for the study, which it expects will form part of a contribution to the Joint Research Centre's project 'Building a gateway to the European learning area'. The IPTS study will be centred on the notions lifelong learning, information and communication technologies and employability. It should show how these issues could be covered in the planned website entitled 'Gateway to the European learning area'. The study, for which there is an estimated budget of 50,000 euro, must be conducted in English.
