Conference proceedings offer guide to EU funding
Comprehensive information and advice for enterprises in the EU's candidate countries seeking EU support is now available in the form of the conference proceedings from the October 2002 event 'European funding facilities for enterprises from candidate countries'. The proceedings, available from the Slovenian business & research association (SBRA), contain information on research funding and other EU sources of support, such as the SME (small and medium sized enterprise) Finance Facility, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). A section devoted to SMEs also gives advice on overcoming obstacles to finance, SMEs and the Sixth Framework Programme for research, support available from CORDIS, government support, and Euro Info Centres.
