European City of Science: call for projects
The French Ministry of Higher Education and Research has issued a call for proposals for projects to be presented at the European City of Science from 14 to 16 November. Between 60 and 80 projects will be presented at the event, which will take place within the framework of the Festival of Science, organised by the French Presidency of the EU Council (July to December 2008). The event will aim to showcase European collaborative projects whilst facilitating dialogue between professionals, and between science and society. The evaluation criteria for judging proposals include: the European dimension of the project; its scientific quality; involvement of several partners; accessibility of the project to the different categories of visitor expected at the event.For further information, please visit: http://www.recherche.gouv.fr
