In the field of radiation protection dosimetry, the proceedings of a workshop on "Individual monitoring of ionizing radiation: The impact of recent ICRP and ICRU publications" have now been published. The workshop, jointly organized by the European Commission, DG XI, and the European Radiation Dosimetry Group, took place in Villigen, Switzerland, on 5-7 May 1993.

The proceedings comprise papers from the workshop on the following subjects:

- Radiation protection quantities;
- Inter-relationship of radiation quantities;
- Angular and energy distribution;
- Type testing and calibration;
- Accuracy and performance requirements;
- Performance testing;
