Call for tenders for support of the European Innovation Partnership on Water
The European Commission has published a call for tenders for support of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Water. The tender is for the establishment a secretariat for the EIP on Water. The secretariat will support the European Commission with the establishment and operational phase of the EIP. Activities will vary in nature, and will include secretarial tasks, contact with stakeholders at various levels, support in the development of a strategic implementation plan, coordination of the (outcomes of) innovation sites and development of an internet-based market place for water innovations. The Europe 2020 Flagship Initiative for an Innovation Union proposed the concept of European Innovation Partnerships (EIPs). The strategic objective of the EIP on Water is to position Europe as a world leader in water technology and services by boosting innovation, promoting the creation of new market opportunities and contributing to achieving the sustainable and efficient use of water.To see the official call announcement, please consult: OJ No S 67 of 5 April 2012
