The "Source Book" was compiled by the Irish Productivity Centre on behalf of the Commission's INNOVATION programme which aims to strengthen Europe's innovation structure and disseminate research results to industry. It provides a comprehensive guide to both national and EU research policies and programmes, as well as providing contact names for research and development information sources and organizations. The book also contains contacts for: prototype and product development; technology transfer and marketing; patents, licensing, and legal aspects; finance and funding; and other general sources of information.
