Scientific cooperation with China
The European Commission, DG XII, has published a compilation of summaries of RTD projects carried out in cooperation with scientists from the People's Republic of China during the period 1990-1994. The publication contains details of projects carried out under the Science and Technology for Development (STD) programme and the international Scientific Cooperation (ISC) programme, as well as a number of Marie Curie Fellowships granted to individual scientists from China for research work in Europe. The projects supported covered the following areas: - Agriculture; - Health and biomedical sciences; - Environment; - Earth sciences; - Physical sciences; - Chemistry; - Biological sciences. In total 40 project summaries are contained in the publication, along with contact details for each project. A listing of projects carried out under the same programmes in previous years is also included.
