Call for proposals on prevention of drug dependence
The European Commission, DG V, has published a call for proposals concerning the Community action programme on the prevention of drug dependence within the framework for action in the field of public health. The Commission is seeking proposals for action from public or private bodies and non-governmental organizations active in the following areas: - A: Data, research, evaluation; - B: Information, health education and training. Projects will only be considered for Community funding if they correspond to one or more of the actions provided for in the annex to the Decision concerning the programme. Priorities for 1998 are laid down in the annual work programme, which may be obtained from the Commission. Projects must also provide added value at Community level, either by involving the participation of at least three Member States; being conducted jointly in several Member States; or being capable of application in other Member States.
