Helicopter carbon composite engine deck

The aim of the topic is to develop, design and test an engine deck using advanced carbon composite solutions. Different concepts and material configurations have to be tested and evaluated with respect to mechanical and fire proof requirements. The development aims a considerable structural weight reduction and fatigue resistance improvement in comparison to conventional metallic designs.
