Objective
Preparation of a suitable substrate for the elimination in a solid bed reactor of carbon monoxide to less than 10 ppm from a hydrogen gas stream generated from methanol for operating fuel cells.
The research will be directed first of all on the preparation and conditioning of those substrates that seem the best suitable for this use in a fixed bed or in pressure or thermal swing parametric pumping systems. This choice of the more suitable apparatus will be indicated after the adsorption-desorption isotherms and the kinetics of the different substrates have been determined.
