Future on-/off-road transport and mobility research, cross-border cooperation strategies, realization actions and procurement processes

Funding, financing and procurement guide

This guide will summarize strategies methods and processes involved in aligning emobility solutions to national frameworks and priorities and outline which financial institutions and mechanisms are required to implement sustainable transport initiatives The guide will also provide results of procurement round tables and will detail strategies that inure to the benefits of all interested parties concerned in implementing the conceived innovations

ERTRAC dissemination strategy

The ERTRAC communication and dissemination strategy will serve as a guidance document for all communication and dissemination activities carried out throughout the duration of the project The strategy will define how Work Package 4 can best support and promote the outcomes and actions of the other work packages as well as of ERTRAC from a communication and dissemination point of view

Report on European academic centres of excellence

Incorporating also the findings from FUTURERADAR T13 this deliverable will include a short summary of the literature analyses the patent analyses based on D19 of the FUTURERADAR project and a detailed report on the EU project analyses that are done in specified research topics for the determined centres of excellence D13 will be the basis for the work on elaborating a reference model for future CSAs on identifying hidden champions centres of excellence

RTR knowledge indicator table

The results of the comparison of RTR strategies between EU and other established markets will be summarized in an indicator table that can be referred to for benchmark discussions The indicators will be based on the SWOT analyses carried out in Task 22 They will be visualized in a comprehensive and easytounderstand manner By making reference to the factsheets D21 the indicator tale will serve as an umbrella result of the analysis in this work package

Report on international collaborations in RTR

The report will highlight strategic international cooperation opportunities that would deliver substantial mutual benefits between the European Union and the partner regions and entities in relation to pursuing longterm sustainability in the road transport sector and its value chains particularly in view of current and imminent crises The report shall also highlight optimal approaches for pursuing such collaboration opportunities based on the analyses and consultations done in the other relevant tasks T12 T21 T22

Future research priorities and current research gaps

D11 will encompass a report on the information gathered concerning future research priorities and research gaps In this report one will also find a summary of the first Horizon Europe calls and an analysis of the inclusion of the ERTRAC roadmap contents

Catalogue of demonstration concept notes on mobility innovations

The developed implementation concepts on innovative mobility solutions for possible demonstration and replication will be compiled into a respective catalogue that can pose as reference for further implementation concepts

Strategic research agendas and roadmap updates

With the updates of roadmaps in loops depending on the further development of research priorities and collaboration opportunities a much clearer picture and more focused research prioritization will be delivered The roadmaps and strategic research and innovation agendas will be created in close cooperation with the upcoming new instrument for the CCAM area and covering urban suburban and rural use cases as well as long distance both for people and goods Included will be results of T23 to explore the European Unions High Level Clusters for International Collaborations with activities in the roadmaps to strengthen the competitiveness of the European Union to address market access issues to address global challenges and to identify global players and programmes

Brochure: New implementation concepts for sustainable mobility

A glossy brochure will be produced highlighting new implementation concepts for sustainable mobility

Factsheet collection on RTR in established markets

The information on RTR strategies in established markets gathered in Task 21 will be summarized in a concise and structured way through countryspecific fact sheets that can be used as a quick reference for discussions on international collaboration The information provided may include eg a country map with relevant RTR players along the value chain the main RTR activity fields as compared to ERTRAC roadmap topics the volumes of funding budgets A particular section could be dedicated to COVID19 and crisis mitigation impacts

Report on training and peer-to-peer capacity building

This report will highlight the results of and the lessons generated through the conduct of the training and peertopeer capacity building activities It will also be developed with a forwardlooking strategic mindset highlighting the thematic areas where European expertise and experience can further focus on in terms of extending capacity building support to other regions as well as providing specific recommendations on how such international capacity building initiatives can be made more impactful

Methodology for the identification of hidden champions in the area of road transport research and recommendations for closer collaboration of ERTRAC with research pillars

The contents of D14 will build on the data gathered in D13 and include a reference model for possible future identification of hidden champions centres of excellence as well as paths towards a better exchange and collaboration between ERC EIC and ERTRACresearch D14 could be the basis for eg a future Coordination and Support Action
