Deliverables

Missions playbook (opens in new window)

Related to T3.4. The results from the knowledge exchange and mutual learning exercises will be collected and synthesized into a digital “playbook”, which will articulate a diverse range of different approaches for implementation of missions, each “tried and tested” in different mission-oriented innovation contexts. The playbook will describe thebackground to mission-oriented practices, detail diverse approaches and models, and provide clear and pragmatic guides to good practices, whilst discussing the potential pitfalls and cases that the mutual learning process has identified.

Approximately three codeveloped use cases in several member states and associated countries (opens in new window)

Related to T3.3. Use cases will exemplify and further develop the national, regional, or local missions’ implementation, or the set-up of complementary missions (engagement) actions at national, regional or local level. The subject of a use case may be to implement in practice the results of the mutual learning events (T3.2), but it may also originate from elsewhere, for example based on the input from the thematic missions CSA’s.

First draft of the MCN concept (opens in new window)

Related to T1.1. Viable concept for the MCN and its internal operation, including terms of reference and criteria for membership. The concept will serve as a point of departure ensuring the functionality and utility of the MCN while safeguarding its sustainability and embedding the MCN in the European R&I landscape.

Mapping analysis report (opens in new window)

Related to T2.6. The mapping analysis report will provide an overview of mapping results and will summarize the outcomes of T2.2, T2.3, T2.4, and T2.5. This analytical report will also serve to highlight good practices in mission-oriented policy and hence will provide input for WP1 and WP3 respectively for their tasks devoted to in-depth learning and mutual exchange.

MCN Final Concept (opens in new window)

MCN Final Concept is related to T1.3: including governance structures and vision. The final concept will help to ensure the sustainability and operability of the MCN after the end of the project.

Approaches for mutual learning events - toolbox (opens in new window)

Related to T3.1. The purpose is to create generic approaches and materials that can be utilized in T3.2 workshops but also in other activities engaging national and regional actors during and after the lifespan of TRAMI. The aim is to put in place an iterative Part B - Page 19process and a dynamic relationship between T3.1 and T3.2 in order to facilitate a “learning-by-doing-process” that develops the concepts of the mutual learning events, tests them in the actual events and then produces feedback for the development and update of approaches.

Survey report (opens in new window)

Related to T2.4. The results of the survey will support WP1, 3 and 4 by providing an overview of the actors/players covered in the field to be addressed in their activities.

Analytical framework for the mapping of actors and policy instruments (opens in new window)

Related to T2.1. Final analytical framework and a clearly defined selection process of what and whom to map. The other five missions-specific preparatory actions will be invited to collaborate with TRAMI on the development of joint concepts, definitions and classifications.

MCN Presentation Material (opens in new window)

Related to T1.2. MCN Presentation Material (Power Point, month 4)

MCN report on the implementation of missions at national, regional and local (opens in new window)

Related to T1.3. The collection and analysis of already established governance structures and implementation processes at national, regional and local level will finally be published in a report. The report will include recommendations for efficient and effective mission implementation structures and processes.

Knowledge Platform (opens in new window)

Related to T4.4. A Knowledge Platform will be established aiming at providing an informative and interactive platform for all interested actors all over Europe and beyond. The Mission Data Platform (WP2) as well as the Mission Core Network (WP1) will be presented at the Knowledge Platform.

Approximately 10 knowledge exchange and mutual learning events conducted in several member states and associated countries (opens in new window)

Related to T3.2. The mutual learning events consist of a series of workshops with different categories of participants and a range of foci that address different aspects of processes at national, regional and local level that may facilitate the implementation of missions. The workshops will address different topical issues of implementation at these levels (e.g., governance structures; design of national and regional programs; the inclusion of business and public sector; citizen participation, etc.), as well as the methods and approaches for conducting the workshops themselves.

Mission data platform on policy interventions and policy actors/players (opens in new window)

Related to T2.7. The development of online access interface will ensure the widespread use of the collected information on mission-oriented policies and actors/players in the EU. Furthermore, this development will also include a design for continuous improvement and an updating process, as well as incentives for the identified community (see WP1, WP3 or WP4), to contribute information on actors and activities to the repository.
