Project description
Small AI-powered robots for a new future
Machines and robots commonly used in industrial processes are usually large, heavy and hard to use, making it difficult to address a wide range of applications at smaller scales. The EU-funded REGO project will address this challenge by introducing a novel set of AI-powered small-sized robots. Swarms of such robots are uniquely modular and adaptable, and they are able to carry out complex tasks as a coordinated team. Examples include medical interventions and water treatment, which require both careful monitoring and efficiency. Expert human operators can control the actions of such robotic teams using intuitive consoles and natural information feedback.
