Periodic Reporting for period 1 - ERA-LEARN (Strengthening the European Partnership community)
Reporting period: 2023-07-01 to 2024-12-31
The project activities of ERA-LEARN are geared to serve the specific needs of 1) the European Commission (including executive agencies) 2) EU Member States, Associated Countries, policy makers, and the Partnership Knowledge Hub (PKH), 3) the European Partnership community (governing and managing bodies), and 4) researchers. Collectively, the project aims to increase the effectiveness of the design and implementation of the European Partnerships.
ERA-LEARN implemented a responsive communication and outreach strategy with various tools and channels for communicating with the broadened Partnership community and the dissemination of results including a strategic and frequent use of social media.
ERA-LEARN is designed in response to needs of the European Partnership community. ERA-LEARN engages with the stakeholders and focus on providing support to the Strategic Coordinating Process for the period 2023 to 2027.
The following main results towards the project objectives were reached in the reporting period:
• development of a framework for regular and systematic interaction with the Partnership Knowledge Hub (D1.1)
• draft concept note for MLE "Impact of European Partnerships on national R&I Systems”
• support for developing the PKH “Opinion on Partnerships in FP10” including the workshop "Building the Vision for future European Partnerships” and a background paper on key learnings
• support for Horizon Europe data collection in eCorda and the BMR 2024 report
• matrix on emerging strategic aspects - D1.2
• Annual Report on Public-Public Partnerships 2023
• brochure “Two Decades of European Partnerships - Our Achievements”
• country report France and update of country report Austria
• model Consortium Agreement for co-funded European Partnerships
• annual collection of identified learning needs and plan to tackle them (D3.1)
• guidance for European Partnerships on synergy creation
• guidance for European Partnerships on international cooperation
• adjustment of the current “R&I Partnerships Evaluation (RIPE)” toolkit

2. From single partnerships and fragmented activities to a coherent mobilisation of partnerships via establishing and/or strengthening synergies, coherence and openness

Results were achieved and progress was made in all pathways.
