Periodic Reporting for period 2 - EcoMobility (Intelligent, Safe and secure connected Electrical Mobility solutions: Towards European Green Deal and Seamless Mobility)
Reporting period: 2024-05-01 to 2025-04-30
In parallel, WP7 strengthened dissemination and communication efforts. The project’s visual identity was finalized, and its website and social media channels were actively leveraged to engage stakeholders and the public. WP8 focused on reinforcing the Steering Committee Team (SCT) to ensure effective coordination across the consortium. Regular SCT meetings supported timely execution of tasks, continuous risk assessment and mitigation, and seamless information flow between teams.
Overall, this period established a solid foundation for the next phases, where design and development will be further refined. The consortium remains on track to achieve planned milestones, with ongoing collaboration and communication ensuring all SC-specific developments align with project goals.
WP2: Year 2 was dedicated to defining the architectures and interfaces of the corresponding demonstrators. As part of the preparation for requirements and specifications, state-of-the-art studies were conducted on relevant demonstrators and use cases. The primary architecture design has already been delivered, and work is now progressing on detailed and optimized versions. The related achievements in system designs and architectures will be reported/disseminated in detail in RP2.
WP3: The second year focused on delineating sensors, components, and architectures for the different use cases. An early hardware prototype is now available, and the consortium is currently preparing the M27 deliverable, which will provide the final report on hardware component development.
WP4: Implementation activities are ongoing. The first WP4 deliverable (M24) has been successfully delivered, and work continues toward finalizing the implementation.
WP5: Since WP5 (which started in M13) ran in parallel with WP3 and WP4 during this reporting period, most SCs were still focusing on separate HW and SW developments. Nevertheless, all SCs have completed preparatory work to enable a smooth and step-wise integration of the subsystems.
WP6: WP6 is scheduled to start at M24; therefore, no formal activities are planned or reportable for this initial reporting period. Nevertheless, the WP leader, together with task leaders, has already started monitoring activities related to specific SCs to detect possible criticalities early.
