Accelerating Demand-Driven tools for pediatric innovation adoption - A collaborative roadmap for Europe

The overall approach is to ensure that members promote communication and dissemination activities in a coordinated and easy manner. A communication toolkit with different templates for social media and other channels will be prepared. Strategy for internal communication within the consortium will be also set-up.

European action plan for sustainable paediatric innovation adoption mechanisms (opens in new window)

We will prepare an action plan to address the needs, overcome the challenges, reduce the risks and financial burden that includes:1. The “demand-driven” paediatric ecosystem community created in WP2. This ecosystem will contribute to the execution and sustainability of the action plan and will have a role in the adoption of innovation in low, moderate and high innovation countries.2. Implementation of specific capacity building programmes for different stakeholders. Including programmes for helping innovation suppliers in the implementation of a demand-driven innovation adoption, co-designed by the stakeholders in Task 3.1 and 3.2. Also, capacitate health system and procurers in the implementation of the instruments, legal framework counselling,3. Actions for raising awareness and sharing the needs on the adoption of innovation in paediatrics to policy makers.

Europe Paediatric Innovation Adoption Situation and Analysis Report (opens in new window)

The final objective will be to know the different mechanisms that the different European regions put at the disposal of their ecosystems, as well as the barriers and needs of the stakeholders involved in the development and adoption of paediatric solutions.Report summarising the current state-of-the-art of the paediatric innovation and adoption landscape in Europe and beyond, giving special focus on the depth of the paediatric innovation gap.

Report on the establishment of Solution Framework Generation (opens in new window)

Through a comparative assessment of current programs and state-of-art out of the EU region, specific “success” criteria will be defined to inform the development of the solution framework.

Launch of Collaborative Strategic Plan (opens in new window)

A final event will be held at the end of the project that will be used as the launch of the strategic plan
