Tools and Routines to Assist Ports and Improve Shipping

Objective

The overall project objective is to provide support tools that will enable ports to enhance the efficiency of their operations and to optimise the planning, management and use of their resources in order to provide cost-effective, safe and high quality services, thereby strengthening their global competitive position.

In order to achieve the project's primary objective a TRAPIST Suite of routines and applications will be developed and tested in corresponding Work Packages.

There will be twelve Work Packages providing a comprehensive list of applications that had their origins in earlier EU Programmes.
