Energy services for multi-user business parks with enhanced levels of renewables and rational use of energy - target action I

Objective

This proposal aims at enhanced RES/RUE integration in multi-user business parks through application of virtual energy management systems. Specific objectives are:
1. Development of a simulation model for business park developers for optimisation of RES/RUE integration. The model will give optimum strategies for RES/RUE integration and for demand side and load management of multi-user business parks.
2. Development of an internet-based automated virtual business park management system for integrated resource planning and control, optimised for multi-user business parks in terms of organisation, economic viability, maximum renewable energy integration and greenhouse gas emission reductions.
3. Environmental and economic targets, tested and monitored at pilot sites: 25% energy cost reductions; 15% RES share; 20% CO2 emission reductions.
