Objective
Nauplios aims to:
- demonstrate the added value of GALILEO navigation integrity and precision signal in all aspects of maritime navigation.
- evaluate the legislative measures that European authorities will have to prepare to take full advantage for the GALILEO public Interest Service signal.
The goals of Nauplios are to:
-enhance safe navigation based on an early identification of ships coming into coastal zones, a better accuracy on their location and improved reliability of Search and Rescue messages.
- contribute to the settlement of frames for a European Maritime Safety Agency based on the definition of a Mission Control Centre simulating the main functions
