Workshop on integration of EU CEEC's inland waterway

Objective

The opening up of central and Eastern Europe opens a broader spectrum of possibilities to use inland waterways across Europe for transport. The CEEs and the EU have established a "multi-Annual R+D-Transport Programme", which was approved by both sides for funding sides for funding if specific topics fit into the 5.FP One of the first priority proposal projects is concerned with "Integration of the EU and CEEC's Inland Waterway Network".
