Objective
The main objective of the project is to enhance development of the organisation and the human resources of EC Baltic Renewable Energy Centre (EC BREC) as a Centre of Excellence in the field of socio-economic research on the implementation of renewable energy technologies in Europe. The project is also aimed to strengthen capacities of EC BREC as a Centre of Competence in the area of policy development, introduction of effective decision-making support tools, and creation of economic and legal measures to facilitate renewable energy sector in Poland.
The project objectives are consistent with the objectives of the ENERGIE-sub programme and will help to achieve the targets outlined in the EU white Paper Energy for the future: Renewable Energy Sources" and the national renewable policy objectives. The project will help develop long-term co-operation with major research institutes and agencies in Europe thus, integrating RECEPOL within ERA.
