Early market introduction of new energy technologies by the opet network in liaison with science and technology

Objective

Many of the currently operating OPETs are focusing on the promotion of established technologies in differing contexts, however, with only meagre reflection of science and research. An immediate interpretation is that there seems to be a missing link in the OPET Network: there is no activity dedicated to opportunities of science and research in the field of enabling energy-and-environmental technologies. The proposed EMINENT network will provide a link between early stage technologies, achieved by R&D organisations on the one hand, and the OPET network on the other. By evaluating the Early Stage Technologies (EST^TMs) on their potential fields of application before offering them to the OPET network.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
