Objective

Conceptually the main Purpose of the OLA project is to help create conditions for incorporating sustainable development as a priority in the formulation and implementation of energy and transport policies in Latin America and Caribbean countries. The specific objective of OLA is to reinforce and coordinate a cluster of OPET-related organizations in a series of countries, aiming to promote clean and modern energy and transport technologies and policies in the region. The project will strengthen capacity-building processes in energy & transport organizations (both governmental and private) in Latin America and the Caribbean countries, taking advantage of European expertise and RTD results in those fields.
