Objective

The ITEGA project (Information Technology for Europe's General Aviation) focuses on user needs in General Aviation with respect to meteorological and flight information data. The project will build on existing technology in real-time databases, graphical user interfaces and state-of-the-art telecommunication and will result in prototype ITEGA terminals (fixed and/or portable) offering on-line access to actual weather and flight information for pilot self-briefing. Fixed terminals will be installed at different European airfields for validation
