TECHNICAL AND CONCEPTIONAL VALIDATION AND CUSTOMISATION OF INNOVATIVE CENTRIFUGAL SPINNING TECHNOLOGY FOR THE INEXPENSIVE AND FLEXIBLE PRODUCTION

Objective

In order to enable the European textile industry to compete in world markets, this project plans the validation of an innovative centrifugal spinning technology using magnetic bearings based on a BRITE research project. The technology can offer yarn of the same quality as ring spun yarn but produced at a higher speed and with improved productivity.
