Objective
The "EC Folk Culture on Multimedia" project will bring together on a multimedia CD-ROM the following EC folk culture information :
SOUND - folk music, songs, instruments ;
IMAGES - music sheets, instruments, folk dress, contributors;
TEXT - dance steps and descriptions;
DATA - contributing folk groups and publishers, folk festivals;
VIDEO - folkdance performance in folk costume (media memory permitting)
The material will be brought together in a Windows type format with an interactive quiz.
5 CD-audio disks will also be produced as a by-product.
