Objective

A database on Flemish art and its influence in XIVth to XVIIth century Europe, bringing together the works of art from the main European museums (from 2000 to 3000 paintings, drawings, etc).

The database comes on CD-ROM XA media and operates with navigational software (Hypercard in an Apple Macintosh environment and a hypertext software for PCs). There are one or more volumes, each containing a text database on the subject covered, together with texts corresponding to the different image and sound elements used.

The CD-ROM will first be published in French and English with adaptions and translations into other languages being be offered depending on market evolution.
