Synergy packing approach for energy optimised building renovation

Objective

The project aims to demonstrate a new approach for renovation projects, the so-called synergy package approach, by renovating 600 dwellings in DE, NL, BE and DK. The synergy package approach is an innovative method to arrive at a multi-parameter optimum by comparing synergy packages, which are feasible combinations of renovation measures like advanced insulation, improved windows, efficient heating systems, renewable energies, heat recovery from ventilation air etc. The optimum is an achievable combination of CO2 reduction and costs. In the projects up to 70 % of the heat consumption will be reduced.

Additionally the project is - to explore the acceptance of investors and users - to increase awareness among housing associations, architects and planners on the possible energy savings using the synergy package approach.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)
