Objective

The "Green Housing Block" project is linked with other proposals as part of the so-called "European Green Solar Cities" cooperation which is made in relation to the ongoing cooperation in the European Green Cities Network, EGC.

A total of five cooperative projects have been sent to the EU-Energie programme with a proposal to be "clustered" as part of the EGC cooperation with a proposal is to demonstrate energy saving using solar technologies of various kind. Two countries are involved, UK and France. The overall aim is to obtain considerable reduction in energy use. There will be knowledge transfer within the European Green City cooperation. It is aimed to show how you can optimise use of innovative solar energy technologies together with energy savings and an optimized energy supply for different types of buildings.
