Efficient planning identifying cities with sustainability

Objective

Elaborate the first European guide on sustainable urban planning according the revision of the master plans adopted at ParcBIT (Palma de Mallorca) Kronsberg (Hannover) and Leidsche Rijn (Utrecht). The guide will analyse the aspects dealing with the sustainable and energy-efficient approach included in land planning, construction, traffic, water & waste handling, green materials, integration, energy supply and energy saving measures.

The elaboration of this guide will provide to architects, town planners and urban responsible the guidelines and the practical results of sustainable master planning. These guidelines will become the fist practical handbook procuring not only urban solutions but also showing the effects in four remarkable sites.
