Exploitable results
The Multimedia House of Quality provides services which include ways of measuring quality in multimedia as well as a suite of instruments and training materials that can be used to apply quality-oriented practices within the different activities of a multimedia development project. It takes its inspiration from practices for defining and improving quality developed for engineering disciplines: these have been adapted and applied to multimedia. The need it addresses is that of helping system providers and purchasers improve multimedia quality, in terms of their being able to provide products more suited to needs and reducing waste through having to rework assets or having them rejected. Product quality will thus rise and products become more competitive and cost effective.
