A new design process (ESL-SENSOR) has been implemented through the design of an electrochemical prototype instrument comprising microprocessors, display, memory, keypad and a sensing circuit. The design process utilizes a 3D mechanical package, an electronics design system, a PCB (Printed Circuit Board) package and a hypertext linked documentation system.
