Objective
The innovation relay centre is proposed to be operative in the North-West of Spain, specifically in Asturias, Cantabria, Castilla y León and Galicia, being the partners of the consortium FICYT (project co-ordinator), Chamber of Commerce of Cantabria, Technology Park of Boecillo and CIS respectively. This project intends to contribute to the consolidation of a professional and reliable European technology transfer network in close collaboration with the whole network. Main objectives and main expected results are: Fostering of transnational technology transfer in order to increase the competitiveness of the industrial tissue within the area of the proposed consortium ( 34 technology transfer agreements signed ); Exploitation of results of communitary research (78 R&D research results identified at local level and diffused to the network ); Increasing the innovative culture within the society and particularly within the SMEs (1250 new clients); to give an integral service to local clients in all aspects dealing with the complete technology transfer process (legal advice, innovation funding, technical support).
