Final Report Summary - CIRQYS (Circuit QED with hybrid electronic states)
The CirQys project is devoted to the implementation and the study of a circuit quantum electrodynamics architecture with hybrid electronic systems. The main obejectives was to create a coherent spin/photon interface for circuit QED with single electronic spins, the study of Cooper pair splitting as well as Majorana physics in cavity. All these 3 types of experiments have been implemented successfully. We have observed for the first time a coherent spin/photon interface. We have also observed the freezing of charge dynamics in a Kondo quantum dot. Finally, we have established the mesoscopic quantum electrodynamics architecture as a powerful tool to study dynamics of mesoscopic circuits.
