Expanding the existing NAVOBS network of GMES users in order to factor out common needs and instigate economies of scale in service delivery which will help SMEs (GMES service providers or customers)

Objective

NAVOBSPLUS is a Specific Support Action aiming at enhancing the readiness of SME users and their customers to incorporate GMES information into their working methods and decision-making processes. NAVOBSPLUS will: expand the portfolio of GMES users (SMEs acting as GMES service providers and/or their potential customers); network such GMES users to factor out common needs and initiate economies of scale in service delivery. Relying on ESINET, a consortium of 15 organisations led by EBN, (European Business and Innovation Centre) will thus implement 5 intertwined support processes to complement their existing 100 SME network: Detect new regional SME service providers, away from GMES, but ready to use GMES core services Convince more customers to become clients of existing or new SME service providers.
