Objective
"Tests will be performed on full model with installed CROR engines. The model will be mounted on a dorsal sting, located at tunnel centre line. The model is provided with two powered Counter-Rotating propellers which are driven by two air motors (owned by the Topic Manager). The model is the same model as used in L-CROR-CTS (JTI-CS-2012-01-SFWA-02-028).
The aim of the test is to determine the acoustic characteristics of the full model. Innovative measuring techniques and hardware solutions will be used to assess the in-flow and out-of-flow noise signature.
The test will be performed in the 8mx6m open test section of DNW-LLF."
