Objective
ennovation-NET will enable future coordination among the national e-business and innovation programmes of several countries, with a view to increase their national and European impact and to implement joint programmes. For this purpose we plan to carry out a set of support activities in the spirit of the European Innovation Area (EIA) and especially in view of the enlarged EU in order to lay the ground for a Coordinated Actions project to be proposed in FP7. ennovation-NET is reflecting on - and preparing to address in a future CA project - how to achieve coordination between national ebusiness and innovation policy Programmes, how to design trans-national e-business Programmes seeking to improve the innovative behavior of SMEs, how to avoid compartmental approaches in diffusing and applying e-business technologies and practices, how to develop a system of networked national innovation/e-business policies in Europe and finally how to create an e-business/innovation policy platform that brings together innovation and e-business stakeholders.
