Objective
The objective of the REMES project was to elaborate the organisational, financial and technological basis for a follow-up project aimed at the constitution of a multilingual electronic service centre for social science (REMES). The creation of this centre responded to the increasing need of social science knowledge in the electronic review of social science published in the authors' mother language (English, Spanish and German). REMES was meant to serve as a documentation centre and electronic dictionary.
This definition phase project had the objective to verify the economic perspective of the future project via the:
- Implementation of market studies;
- Progressive development of the project and product design in respect to its organisational, financial and technological dimension;
- Constitution of the organisational structure of the follow-up project;
- First selection of material.
