Objective
In the light of the preparation of future European activities in investigator-driven frontier research through the creation of a European Research Council (ERC), the project aims at supporting and assisting the Vice-Chair of the European Research Council Scientific Council (ERC ScC) in her assignment in order to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the ERC Scientific Council, and the efficient and timely achievement of its objectives in preparing and managing the start of the ERC operations under FP7. The project will provide support and secretarial assistance related to the work of the Vice-Chair of the ERC Scientific Council for a period of 19 months (2006-2007). The project is hosted by the Wissenschaftszentrum Wien and includes the appointment of a personal assistant for providing broad technical and secretarial support to the Vice-Chair of the ScC.
