Objective
Continuing their actions in the IST-Mentor and TRISTAN East projects, while exploiting the methodologies developed therein, the experienced EU multipliers, with the help of the local NCPs for IST, will identify candidate IST multipliers in 6 ACCs - EE, LT, LV, MT, PL, TR - and mentor them. These multipliers will be coached to extend the services of the NCPs for IST in the respective ACCs.
Each ED partner will establish a liaison with one or more local candidate partners, in one or two of the participating ACCs, offering continued bilateral tutoring and support, in collaboration with the local NCPs. The IST multipliers from the ACCs will attend mentoring workshops, exposing them to FP6 and its instruments and to the IST WP. Each couple, formed of an EU partner and one or more multipliers, will thereafter engage in a bilateral action, in which the former will transfer knowledge and hands-on experience to the latter, who will be coached in the requirements and rulings of FP6.
This will facilitate the assistance of the multipliers to local IST enterprises - and to ACC entities wishing to adopt IST - to participate and respond to Calls for Proposals within the IST Priority, and will augment the proportion of ACC entities in EC funded IST projects.
The Consortium will assist the IST multipliers (bilaterally and jointly) in:
a. organising local mailing and phoning awareness-building campaigns (aimed at identifying potential IST developing or IST utilising entities that could benefit of FP6 projects),
b. organising awareness building and dissemination Seminars and Workshops,
c. joining a network of IST-multipliers created in the other ACCs and NIS (In IST-Mentor and TRISTAN-East, and assisting ACC entities to build or join STREP, IP or NoE proposals, together with EU partners.
