Objective
The objective of the project is to adapt and validate an existing computer programme for sheet forming analysis STAMPACK developed under BRITE so that it can be effectively and easily applied by engineers to the design and quality assurance of sheet stamping dies. The resulting computer system could mean a breakthrough in the traditional experimentally-based die design procedures. The system will be implemented and validated in a number of end-user die manufacturing industries with support from research centres
